Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our HR department in creating a positive work environment, maintaining compliance with HR regulations, and fostering employee engagement. You will be responsible for various administrative tasks, including employee record-keeping, policy implementation, recruitment support, benefits administration, and training coordination.
This position is an in-person position based in our Notre-Dame office; flexible work arrangements can be considered; however, the ideal candidate should be available to work in our office for the majority of the workweek.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain employee records and files while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
- Process employee data changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations
- Assist with the implementation of HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure accurate data entry
- Help communicate and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Support employee relations initiatives and assist in resolving employee inquiries and concerns
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR-related documentation, such as employee handbooks and policies
- Assist with job postings, candidate screening, and scheduling interviews
- Assist in onboarding new employees, including paperwork, orientation, and training logistics
- Assist with benefits enrollment and address employee inquiries regarding benefits programs
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee information
- Support compensation-related activities, such as salary surveys and job evaluations
- Coordinate training programs and initiatives, including logistics, materials, and participant communication
- Support the performance management process, including documentation and scheduling
Requirements
- Diploma in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as an HR coordinator or similar administrative role
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and practices
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
