When ECCO Recycling decided to build a state-of-the-art C&D recycling system for its new Balzac facility, ECCO turned to Sparta, who had previously designed, built, and installed ECCO’s single stream recycling system in its Calgary MRF.

In keeping with ECCO’s tradition of embracing cutting edge technology, ECCO’s Sparta C&D system features the Komptech ballistic separator (the labor slasher) & Terminator shredder. By enabling machinery to do more of the separation & sorting, this new Sparta system optimizes overall production & recovery (of recyclables and process engineered fuel), with a fraction of the headcount!
