To help streamline Sparta’s growing operations, Sparta tapped Remi Valdron (previously head of Project Management) as its new Director of Operations.

In addition to Remi’s mechanical engineering background, his previous work as the Operations Manager of a leading metals recycler and his earlier roles within Sparta in the applications engineering and project management teams, uniquely position him for this critical role on Sparta’s growing team.

“To help us best serve our customers, it’s very helpful to have a Director of Operations who thinks like our customers.  Remi has been in our customers’ shoes for the past number of years.  Add this to his previous roles within Sparta and it makes him the perfect candidate to lead his key teams,” says Bruno Lagace, Sparta’s owner and president

This move will help provide a closed loop between engineering, project management, production, and service – a move that will help drive Sparta’s continuous improvement program and ultimately best serve Sparta customers.
